- TYPE OF ORGANISATION: Non-Profit Organisation
- ESTABLISHED IN: 2016 in Goma, North Kivu, DR Congo
KISANY and Goma have worked closely together over the past 20 years. The atelier began as an NGO project in an emergency situation to support the population of Goma in 2004. It then developed into an independent production company.
With collectively over ~340 years of experience in creating linens many of the artisans have been with AGAPE for average 7 years. KISANY has provided countless training programs to help grow the exceptional skills of the team.
In addition, through a tri-party partnership with NGO En Avant Les Enfants we have together created a wider support system within the North Kivu community. We take pride in knowing all the artisans we work with individually as they are part of the KISANY family.
